Tour PM : City Sights + Spirit of Cairns Dinner Cruise (Afternoon + Evening)

Tour pick up from your Cairns Hotel around 12:30pm, Spend the afternoon discovering Cairns’ cultural and natural highlights, before finishing the day with a magical evening on the water aboard the Spirit of Cairns Dinner Cruise.

Your journey begins at St Monica’s Cathedral, home to the world’s largest themed stained glass windows. Continue to the Cairns Museum, where a dedicated guide shares stories, photographs and artefacts that showcase the city’s rich past.

Wander the Cairns Botanic Gardens, exploring its tropical flora and Aboriginal Plant Use section, then pause for a Devonshire Tea in Edge Hill. From there, stop at a scenic lookout for breathtaking rainforest and coastal views before visiting Palm Cove, a palm-fringed seaside village perfect for a short stroll or photo stop.

As evening falls, step aboard the Spirit of Cairns Dinner Cruise. Begin with a welcome drink and canapés on deck before enjoying a delicious three-course buffet dinner featuring fresh seafood and local produce. Glide across the tranquil waters of Trinity Inlet under the night sky, the perfect finale to your Cairns experience finish by 9:00pm

City Sights + Spirit of Cairns Dinner Cruise

  • Travel in a comfortable air-conditioned vehicle to city highlights (including St Monica’s Cathedral, Cairns Museum, Cairns Botanic Gardens, Scenic Lookout and Palm Cove)
  • Guided entry to Cairns Museum
  • Devonshire Tea in leafy Edge Hill
  • Spirit of Cairns Dinner Cruise (approx. 2.5 hours) – calm-water evening cruise on Trinity Inlet
  • Luxurious air-conditioned vessel with spacious outdoor decks
  • Complimentary welcome drink (sparkling wine, beer, or soft drink)
  • Buffet dinner featuring fresh seafood, hot & cold dishes and local produce
  • Additional beverages (tea, coffee, cocktails, etc.) available for purchase on board

Note: Hotel drop-off not included after the dinner cruise – guests must make their own way back to accommodation

Transportation

  • For City Sightseeing + Spirit of Cairns Dinner Cruise Guests
    Guests joining the City Sightseeing and Spirit of Cairns Dinner Cruise tour will be picked up between 11:30 am and 12:30 pm from their selected pick-up point.
    Return transfer is not included after the cruise — guests are required to make their own way back to their accommodation.
  • Important Note
    Please be ready at least 10 minutes before your scheduled pick-up time or check-in time to ensure a smooth departure

Things to Note

  • Spirit of Cairns is a non-smoking vessel and is not suitable for guests with limited mobility (toilets are only accessible via steep stairs)
  • If your pick-up location is not confirmed at the time of booking, please contact us at least 24 hours prior to your travel date
  • Transfers are not available from private residences (including Airbnb properties) – please make your own way to a designated pick-up point
  • Guests with mobility impairments or requiring assistance should advise us in advance so arrangements can be made
  • All prices are in Australian Dollars (AUD)

Cancellation Policy

10% surcharge if change or cancel after order is placed. No refund if cancel within 3days.
Noticed: If you would like to cancel, please kindly email us to cancel the tour at least 2 business days prior to this cancellation period. Once cancellation is confirmed, you will receive your refund within 7-28 business days.
Cancellation notification needs to be formally replied receipt by us during our office hours as acknowledgement.

NOTE: FIT TRAVEL would adopt suppliers' cancellation policy. Cancellation fees, if any by the suppliers, will be charged according to the supppliers' cancellation policy ( FIT TRAVEL does not charge additional cancellation fees ).
With this specific product's cancellation policy, the suppliers reserve the right of final interpretation.
If your order only pays the deposit of a product: a, if the product has available seats on the departure date and price and contents are the same as the order you placed, the booking would be confirmed by us without additional notification to you, and the deposit is not refundable. b, if the product has no available seats or price or contents are not the same, we might provide alternative options. If you do not agree with the options, the deposit is refundable.
