Discover Freycinet National Park by Land and Sea
Freycinet Aqua Express(Aqua Taxi) offers multiple daily water taxi services to Hazards Beach, with one-way or return transfer options. We also operate a daily transfer to Cooks Beach and can arrange transfers to Schouten Island upon request.
Freycinet National Park is a spectacular destination where rugged granite mountains meet turquoise waters and pristine white-sand beaches. Wineglass Bay—often voted one of the world’s top ten beaches—is globally renowned for its sweeping curve of white sand framed by the Hazards mountain range.
Our passionate local team is excited to be part of your Freycinet adventure and help you fully explore this magical region. Freycinet Aqua Express is the fastest and easiest way to access Wineglass Bay Beach—cruise and walk in just one hour.
While many visitors reach Wineglass Bay via the challenging 3 km lookout walk with over 1,300 steep steps each way, our aqua taxi offers a refreshing alternative. Experience the park from both land and sea. Choose a return coastal transfer with an easy bushwalk or take a one-way boat trip and explore the national park’s iconic walking trails at your own pace.

Hazards Beach – The Fastest Way to Wineglass Bay
Enjoy a scenic 30-minute cruise along the dramatic granite coastline of Great Oyster Bay while our local guides share stories about the region’s history and wildlife. Keep an eye out for seals, seabirds, dolphins and migrating whales.
Upon arrival at Hazards Beach, enjoy a gentle 2-kilometre walk along the Isthmus Track to Wineglass Bay. This 30-minute bushwalk offers opportunities to spot native wildlife—including echidnas and wallabies—before arriving at the soft white sands and crystal-clear waters of Wineglass Bay.
Bring your beach gear and a picnic. We recommend spending a few hours relaxing on the beach before returning to Coles Bay by boat or completing one of the bushwalking routes such as the Hazards Circuit or Wineglass Bay Lookout track.
