How to Get There
- From Port Douglas: Approximately 5 minutes by car from the town centre. Local shuttle buses, taxis and rideshare services are available.
- From Cairns: Approximately 60 minutes by car (60 km), travelling north along the scenic Captain Cook Highway (Great Barrier Reef Drive). Turn onto Port Douglas Road and follow the signs to Wildlife Habitat.
- By Shuttle Bus: Local shuttle services operate between Port Douglas accommodation and Wildlife Habitat. Please check schedules and fares directly with the operator.
- By Self-Drive: Free on-site parking is available, including an electric vehicle charging point.

Things to Note

  • All prices are quoted in Australian dollars and include GST.
  • The Wildlife Habitat has endeavoured to depict animals in their natural state. Free-roaming animals and birds, elevated boardwalks and conditions simulated to represent the rainforest environment can be dangerous. Children must be supervised by an adult at all times.
  • Breakfast operates daily from 8:00 AM to 9:00 AM.
    Check-in is required by 7:45 AM.
  • Advance booking is essential, before 12:00 PM the previous day.
  • Dietary requirements must be advised when booking.
  • Koala holding and professional animal photos are not included.
  • Late arrivals cannot extend the breakfast session.

Cancellation Policy

15% surcharge if change or cancel after order is placed. No refund if cancel within 3days.
Noticed: If you would like to cancel, please kindly email us to cancel the tour at least 2 business days prior to this cancellation period. Once cancellation is confirmed, you will receive your refund within 7-28 business days.
Cancellation notification needs to be formally replied receipt by us during our office hours as acknowledgement.

NOTE: FIT TRAVEL would adopt suppliers' cancellation policy. Cancellation fees, if any by the suppliers, will be charged according to the supppliers' cancellation policy ( FIT TRAVEL does not charge additional cancellation fees ).
With this specific product's cancellation policy, the suppliers reserve the right of final interpretation.
