Once you step out of the coach, the view that surrounds you is amazing! You can see Hobart, the Derwent River and beyond. On a clear day you can also see out to Bruny Island. After our descent from the mountain we have a brief visit to the Cascade Gardens and the exterior of the Female Factory for an insight into the lives of the women convicts once imprisoned there.
