CAPTAIN YOUR OWN MANDURAH MINI CRUISE

Hire a self-drive Mandurah BBQ Boat and be the captain of your own private, eco-friendly mini cruise. Explore ~ at your own pace ~ Mandurah’s incredible natural beauty. Revel in 360-degree views and cruise alongside dolphins as you enjoy the quintessential West Aussie pastime of a drink and barbecue with friends.

With a donut-shaped design, our uber-cool BBQ Boats are fitted with a central barbecue and circular picnic table, providing the perfect setting for relaxed socialising. Bring your own drinks and barbecue or picnic food, and we’ll supply the rest!

Being eco-inspired electric, they are fume-free and whisper quiet, respecting our precious marine world and wildlife. With a cruisy maximum speed of 5 knots an hour, you’ll be as chilled as the champagne in your esky!

The BBQ Boat Experience

A UNIQUE CRUISE OF SIGHTS, SIPS & SIZZLE

Cruise past Mandurah’s thriving waterfront, glamorous yachts and through the canals. Enjoy lunch along the way or find a nice spot to anchor, taking in panoramic views. We’ll provide you with a scenic map, or ask us about our favourite places to dine with spectacular views.

FLOATING BARBECUE

Each BBQ Boat is fitted with a central charcoal barbecue designed by famed international chef, Heston Blumenthal. You can sizzle a sausage or throw a shrimp (or other scrumptious local seafood) on the barbie. Or if you prefer not to cook, bring along a share platter or picnic lunch. We’ll provide tongs, plates, cups, cutlery and napkins.

BYO DRINKS

You are welcome to bring your own drinks for your BBQ Boat experience. There is room for a 50-litre esky on our standard size BBQ Boats and a 70-litre esky can be accommodated on our 10-person BBQ Boats. For BYO rules, click here.

Transportation

  • Your cruise departs from Dolphin Quay in the Mandurah Ocean Marina, where we will meet you at the appointed time to set you off safely.  For a location map, click here.
  • Please arrive on time to ensure ample time for your cruise, and to complete a mandatory safety briefing at the start of the hire.

Things to Note

  • Prices are per person and valid for travel 1 April 2023 to 30 Apr 2024 , for other dates please enquire.
  • Please arrive at designated location 20 mins prior to departure, as tour will depart on time
  • We recommend bringing a camera, sunhat, sunscreen, and sunglasses
  • We suggest wearing comfortable clothing with a warm top, as it can get cool while on the water
  • If you suffer from motion sickness, please take medication prior to arriving at the meeting point
  • No smoking is permitted onboard any of Mandurah Cruises’ vessels or on the departure jetty.
  • This tour is NOT wheelchair accessible.

BYO DRINKS:

You are welcome to bring your own drinks for your BBQ Boat experience. There is room for a 50-litre esky on our standard size BBQ Boats and a 70-litre esky can be accommodated on our 10-person BBQ Boats.

Like driving a car, the skipper is responsible for the safety of the boat and its passengers, and therefore we recommend the skipper sticks to soft drinks. The skipper can have a maximum blood alcohol level of 0.05. Please drink responsibly.

With this specific product's cancellation policy, the suppliers reserve the right of final interpretation.
If your order only pays the deposit of a product: a, if the product has available seats on the departure date and price and contents are the same as the order you placed, the booking would be confirmed by us without additional notification to you, and the deposit is not refundable. b, if the product has no available seats or price or contents are not the same, we might provide alternative options. If you do not agree with the options, the deposit is refundable.
