Cruise the tranquil waters of the World’s most ancient tropical rainforest. There are five daily 45-minute calm water cruises that take you along the Barron River to enjoy the peaceful tropical serenity. The river is home to a host of wildlife including freshwater crocodiles, turtles, snakes, water dragons and fish together with many species of tropical birds. Whilst cruising, take advantage of the great photographic opportunities of the rainforest and wildlife whilst your local guide shares their knowledge of this unique area.

The river is home to a host of wildlife including freshwater crocodiles (Crocodylus johnstoni), turtles,snakes, water dragons, fish and birds. Sometimes a cassowary may be seen on the far side of the river.
