Time for shopping along Gallery Walk, the celebrated heart of Tamborine Mountain’s art and craft scene, featuring exquisite, locally crafted goods. The region is fast gaining acclaim for its boutique wineries—take this chance to savor an exquisite glass of the local red, white, or fortified wine, perhaps even selecting a bottle to cherish at home. If hops and barley are more to your taste, the local brewery welcomes you to savour their craft through a tasting flight (at your own expense).

On the top of Tamborine Mountain you will find the locality of Tamborine. Part of the Scenic Rim, Tamborine village is home to approx 4000 residents who enjoy living the treechange lifestyle. Mt Tamborine is home to a variety of boutique accommodation including cabins, bed and breakfast, and local lodges all offering a hinterland escape and the country hospitality the mountain is famous for. Many of the locals own and operate their own businesses. A Mt Tamborine tour through the area will take you past restaurants and cafes, boutique distilleries, brewery and vineyards, artist studios,  cheese factory and even an organic skincare producer.

Gallery Walk

Tamborine Mountain Gallery Walk, on Long Road is where you will find over 60 stores offering a range of products, many of which are produced locally on the mountain. Stroll along and visit the artisan fudge and candy stores, locally made gifts and homewares, various fashion and clothing boutiques and crystal and jewellery manufacturers. You won’t go hungry or thirsty as the walk is abundant with laid back cafes and food outlets. There is something for everyone on the walk and it is an enjoyable way to spend an hour or two.

Stay Safe in the National Park

Whilst you are undertaking walking trails and enjoying the Coombabah Lake Conservation Park remember to do so safely:

• Stay together and keep to the walking tracks.
• Always keep your children with sight.
• Take care near cliff edges. Keep your distance and stay behind any barriers, especially when taking photos.
• Wear a hat, sunscreen, comfortable clothes and sturdy shoes with good grip.
• Walk with a local guide or experienced bushwalker. This is a good way to gain experience.
• Rubbish bins are not provided. Please bring rubbish bags, and take all recyclables and rubbish with you when you leave.
