Spend your morning on an informative, historical tour of Hobart. Travel on our iconic Explorer Coach Tram with expert commentary of 40 different historical sites and attractions. You will visit the Cascade Brewery gardens, Female Factory historic site, Rosny Hill Lookout and the Royal Botanical Gardens.

Your afternoon will be filled with a visit to the Bonorong Wildlife Sanctuary and time to explore the historic Richmond village.

You will have the opportunity to experience close up interaction with Australian native animals and see Tasmanian iconic species such as the Tasmanian Devil.

A visit to Richmond, takes you back to colonial days. Nowhere else in Tasmania is the romance and nostalgic charm of the colonial days more alive than in Richmond. Stroll down the main street lined with beautifully restored buildings. Enjoy a stroll on the historic Richmond Bridge, the oldest convict-built road bridge in Australia. You will have time to explore the many sites and attractions that Richmond has to offer including the Richmond Historic Gaol, see convict built homes and cottages, visit shops, galleries, cafes and restaurants

We return to Hobart around 5pm.

Things to Note

  • Any prices listed are in the currency of Australian dollar (AUD).
  • Children aged 4 – 13 years receive up to 50% discount off the Adult fare unless otherwise stated.
  • Children under 4 years old can travel for free but are not allocated a seat. Parents are required to hold them throughout the journey. If a seat is needed, a child ticket must be purchased.
  • Adult fares apply to persons 14 years and over
  • It is highly recommended that infants and younger children be seated in an appropriate child restraint seat (with extension cable). These can be hired locally, or the customer may bring their own. If needing to hire locally, your agent or hotel/concierge may be able to assist you.
  • Infants and children under 7 years must not travel in the first two rows of the coach on a Public Day Tour.
  • Please wait at the designated stop location 5 minutes prior to pick up time.

Cancellation Policy

Free Cancellation if cancel outside 24hours. No refund if cancel within 24hours.
Noticed: If you would like to cancel, please kindly email us to cancel the tour at least 2 business days prior to this cancellation period. Once cancellation is confirmed, you will receive your refund within 7-28 business days.
Cancellation notification needs to be formally replied receipt by us during our office hours as acknowledgement.

NOTE: FIT TRAVEL would adopt suppliers' cancellation policy. Cancellation fees, if any by the suppliers, will be charged according to the supppliers' cancellation policy ( FIT TRAVEL does not charge additional cancellation fees ).
