The Great Ocean Road is located west of Melbourne in the state of Victoria, Australia. Stretching approximately 276 kilometres, this scenic coastal drive was built along dramatic cliffs in memory of soldiers who served in World War I. It is widely regarded as one of the most beautiful coastal roads in the world. The Great Ocean Road showcases some of the globe’s most spectacular coastal scenery, winding past pristine beaches shaped by ocean winds, picturesque seaside towns, historic gold mining regions, stunning mountain ranges, rainforests and national parks.

Depart Melbourne for the Great Ocean Road

9:45 AM Arrive at Colac township
Note: The order of stops may be adjusted depending on pick-up arrangements. Short rest stop (approx. 15 minutes).

11:00 AM Arrive at the Twelve Apostles

12:00 PM Arrive at Loch Ard Gorge
A magnificent gorge formed by long-term ocean erosion.

1:00 PM Arrive at Great Ocean Road Wildlife Park
Interact with native animals. Includes lunch break (approx. 90 minutes).
Wildlife Park entry is at own expense. Guests may choose not to enter and instead have lunch at the park café at their own expense.


3:30 PM Arrive at the Apollo Bay region
3:50 PM Arrive at Apollo Bay township
5:30 PM Arrive at the Great Ocean Road Memorial Arch

7:30 PM Return to Melbourne CBD

Pick-up is subject to hotel location and parking accessibility. If the vehicle cannot safely or conveniently stop at the hotel, an alternative pick-up point within 300 metres will be arranged.

Things to Note

  • Please note it is the customer’s responsibility to be waiting at your selected pickup location (accommodation provider) at least 5 minutes before departure. Failure to wait out the front of your selected location may result in the tour guide being unable to locate you, causing failure to load. Please do not wait inside accommodation venues as the driver will not be able to find you. Sightseeing Tours Australia cannot be held responsible for passengers who fail to load.
  • Tours do not include meals or drinks unless otherwise stipulated, however, stops will be made during the day where refreshments can be purchased on the day.

Cancellation Policy

10% surcharge if change or cancel after order is placed. No refund if cancel within 7days.
Noticed: If you would like to cancel, please kindly email us to cancel the tour at least 2 business days prior to this cancellation period. Once cancellation is confirmed, you will receive your refund within 7-28 business days.
Cancellation notification needs to be formally replied receipt by us during our office hours as acknowledgement.

NOTE: FIT TRAVEL would adopt suppliers' cancellation policy. Cancellation fees, if any by the suppliers, will be charged according to the supppliers' cancellation policy ( FIT TRAVEL does not charge additional cancellation fees ).
With this specific product's cancellation policy, the suppliers reserve the right of final interpretation.
If your order only pays the deposit of a product: a, if the product has available seats on the departure date and price and contents are the same as the order you placed, the booking would be confirmed by us without additional notification to you, and the deposit is not refundable. b, if the product has no available seats or price or contents are not the same, we might provide alternative options. If you do not agree with the options, the deposit is refundable.
