All our boats are electric, meaning you’re treading lightly on the environment. GoBoat contributes to improving the local waterways by regularly patrolling and collecting rubbish from the area.

Launched in 2017, GoBoat Australia is proudly Australian owned, and we’ve served almost 500,000 guests across the country with a safe, family-friendly, instagrammable experience!

Every one of our Danish-designed picnic boats is constructed from fibreglass which uses recycled PET bottles instead of virgin glass, and is powered by a state-of-the-art electric motor direct from Germany.

Set sail from Breakfast Creek and cruise along the Brisbane River on an environmentally-friendly electric boat. Enjoy the sun as you enjoy the freedom of piloting a boat on your own.

Can choose 1-3 hours Boat Hire

Board your Danish-designed picnic boats, constructed from fiberglass made from recycled PET bottles, and head off along the river.

Communal recycled timber picnic table included, so pack a picnic basket with you to enjoy under the clear blue sky, and bring a cooler for cold drinks. Choose from a 1, 2, or 3-hour rental and have a relaxing afternoon on the water. Perfect for couples, families and groups of friends, GoBoat is pet friendly too, so all fur babies are welcome.

Each boat can take up to 8 people (including children), and if you are a bigger group you can book multiple boats at once.

  • How to get there : By car -  there is parking available inside the Mercedes Lifestyle Precinct (undercover), also plenty of street parking surrounding the complex • By public transport: a bus stop located approximately 5 minute walk away. Breakfast Creek Rd at Newstead House, stop 12. For further information head to www.translink.com.au.

  • Please note that each boat can take up to 8 people (including children)
  • Life jackets must be worn by children under 12
  • Basic boating rules, only limited amounts of alcohol can be brought onboard

  • Please arrive at designated location 15 mins prior to departure, as tour will depart on time
  • Travellers that fail to arrive before the booking time will be classed as no-show without any refund
  • Travellers must correctly complete the Booking Form, including listing the correct number of Participants, nominating a Skipper and selecting a Hire Period
  • The traveller and/or the Skipper may be required to provide identification documents at the time of hire
  • Please ensure that the nominated Skipper on the is at least 18 years old, physically capable of operating the Boat, and not under the influence of drugs or alcohol exceeding 0.00% blood alcohol content during the Hire Period
  • There will be a late return fee (about AUD50 per 15 minutes the boat is returned later than the scheduled Hire Period)
  • The Boat Company reserves the right to refuse boat hire if the Skipper is absent, intoxicated, fails to comply with instructions, or is deemed unsuitable
  • There are toilets on-site, and it will be recommended a bathroom stop before go onboard

NOTE: FIT TRAVEL would adopt suppliers' cancellation policy. Cancellation fees, if any by the suppliers, will be charged according to the supppliers' cancellation policy ( FIT TRAVEL does not charge additional cancellation fees ).
With this specific product's cancellation policy, the suppliers reserve the right of final interpretation.
If your order only pays the deposit of a product: a, if the product has available seats on the departure date and price and contents are the same as the order you placed, the booking would be confirmed by us without additional notification to you, and the deposit is not refundable. b, if the product has no available seats or price or contents are not the same, we might provide alternative options. If you do not agree with the options, the deposit is refundable.
