After we gently touch down, you'll be driven to Akoya Restaurant within the prestigious Langham Hotel - positioned on an absolute beachfront address between Surfers Paradise and Broadbeach. This natural light-filled space offers direct views over the Pacific Ocean, with an abundant buffet catering to all dietary requirements. From the rolling green hills of the hinterland to the sparkling shoreline - it's the ultimate Gold Coast morning.
Return times can vary depending on the season and daily operations. You’ll usually be back between 10:15am and 11:30am.
Pick up from selected Gold Coast hotels or one of our convenient meeting points .Relax in our air-conditioned coaches as we head to the launch site. Your confirmed time will be issued upon booking. Arrive to witness the spectacular sight of the balloon inflation - our balloons stand taller than a ten-storey building and are a true highlight of the morning!
Take to the skies with Australia’s most experienced pilots. You’ll enjoy a spectacular 40–60 minute flight over the Gold Coast Hinterland, taking in vistas from the Scenic Rim mountains to the city skyline. Learn the secrets of the flight path with expert commentary from your pilot. After landing, join the crew for some light-hearted pack-up games - it’s a fun, traditional part of the ballooning experience.
After working up an appetite, we’ll whisk you back to the coast. Enjoy a sumptuous 5-star Full buffet Breakfast at Akoya, located within the prestigious Langham Hotel. You will have up to one hour to relax in sophisticated surroundings, soak in the ocean views, and toast your morning adventure before your return transfer departs.
Following breakfast, our coach departs for return transfers to your hotel or the Kurrawa meeting point.
5-Star Flexibility: Because of our prime beachside location, you may choose to skip the return transfer and spend more time enjoying The Langham’s facilities or exploring the Surfers Paradise foreshore. The G:link light rail is just a short walk away, giving you the freedom to return to your accommodation at your own pace. Most guests opting for the return coach are dropped off between 10:15 am and 11:30 am

Your transfer and meeting point options
To make your morning as smooth as possible, we offer several ways to join us. Read the options below and choose what works best for your situation:
🏨 Option 1 - Hotel Pickup (Included)
Pickup is available from accommodation in Surfers Paradise, Broadbeach, Main Beach and Southport between 3:50 AM and 4:30 AM. Your return transfer from The Langham is fully included.
🏄 Option 2 - Kurrawa Surf Club Recommended for Self-Drivers
Drive yourself to our preferred coastal meeting point at Kurrawa Surf Club, Broadbeach. Leave your car and join our coach - we'll take you to the launch site, to breakfast at The Langham, and back to your car afterward.
🌄 Option 3 - Hinterland Meeting Points (Nerang or Canungra)
Prefer a hinterland start? You can meet us at Nerang Fair or the Canungra Visitor Information Centre.
⚠️ Please note: If you choose a hinterland meeting point, you will need to self-drive to The Langham for breakfast after the flight. Return transfers to Nerang or Canungra are not included.

NOTE: FIT TRAVEL would adopt suppliers' cancellation policy. Cancellation fees, if any by the suppliers, will be charged according to the supppliers' cancellation policy ( FIT TRAVEL does not charge additional cancellation fees ).
With this specific product's cancellation policy, the suppliers reserve the right of final interpretation.
If your order only pays the deposit of a product: a, if the product has available seats on the departure date and price and contents are the same as the order you placed, the booking would be confirmed by us without additional notification to you, and the deposit is not refundable.
b, if the product has no available seats or price or contents are not the same, we might provide alternative options. If you do not agree with the options, the deposit is refundable.
