Day 1: Depart from Port Denarau at 8:45 AM

Day 3: Return to Port Denarau at 6:00 PM

This brief but exhilarating trip explores two fantastic islands. Begin at South Sea Island, where you can enjoy complimentary non-motorised watersports equipment or opt for an introductory diving lesson. On the following day, travel to Barefoot Kuata Resort on Kuata Island and experience reef sharks in their natural habitat. Don’t worry—these Fijian sharks are quite docile, and a guide will be with you throughout. Spend the night at this picturesque resort, nestled at the base of the Yasawa Islands and surrounded by striking volcanic peaks. Be sure to hike to the summit for a sunset view—it’s well worth the effort!

Itinerary:

Day 1: Depart from Port Denarau to South Sea Island, where you’ll have full access to all non-motorised watersports activities. Your stay includes drinks (local beer, house wine, and soft drinks) from 9:45 AM to 4:00 PM. Enjoy one night at South Sea Island Resort in your chosen room type—Dorm or Private Bure (subject to availability at the time of booking).

  • Meals: Pre-paid meal plans at the resorts, payable directly at the resort.
  • Included Activities: All complimentary activities at South Sea Island, including the Semi-Submersible. Drinks are provided from 9:45 AM to 4:00 PM (local beer, house wine, and soft drinks). Non-motorised watersports activities at South Sea Island.
  • Accommodation: South Sea Island Resort - Dorm (16-bed unisex, shared facilities, air-conditioned), Beachfront Bure (private ensuite, fan).

Day 2: In the morning, travel to the Yasawa Islands Region aboard the vessel. During your stay, one activity is included, so be sure to book this as soon as you check in at the resort. Enjoy the afternoon exploring the resort and the surrounding peaks on Kuata Island.

  • Meals: Pre-paid meal plans at the resorts, payable directly at the resort.
  • Included Activities: Free time to enjoy the resort.
  • Accommodation: Barefoot Kuata in your selected room type—either Dorm or Private Bure.

Day 3: The highlight of the day is snorkelling with reef sharks after breakfast, followed by relaxation at the resort. Depart from the resort in the late afternoon, returning to Port Denarau. Complimentary scheduled coach transfers are available from Port Denarau to select hotels/resorts within Denarau, Nadi, and Wailoaloa Bay.

  • Included Meals: None.

  • Meals are not included in the main price; however, a compulsory meal plan must be added, which includes three meals daily from check-in to check-out. This requirement is mandated by the island resort. You can choose to pre-book the meal plan or pay AUD 199 per person directly on the islands.

Transportation

Complimentary coach transfers are provided to/from most of the Nadi/Denarau & Wailoaloa resorts. Should you miss the complimentary coach transfer, you will need to find your own way to/from Port Denarau at your own cost. Please check with your hotel concierge for the exact pick-up time.

Pick-Up Points:

  • Nadi Airport / Fiji Gateway Hotel / Trans International Hotel: Bus bay outside Fiji Gateway Hotel.
  • Nadi Downtown Backpackers: Courtesy transfer to be confirmed at the time of booking.
  • Ratsun Nadi Airport Apartment Hotel: Bus bay in front of the hotel.
  • Grand Melanesian Hotel: Bus bay in front of the hotel.
  • Mercure Hotel Nadi: Bus bay outside the hotel.
  • Hexagon International Hotel / Capricorn Hotel Nadi / Travellers Apartments: Bus bay in front of the RB Jetpoint Shopping Complex.
  • Nadi Bay Resort / Nalagi Hotel: Guests depart from Nadi Bay Resort at 7:40 AM. South Sea Cruises guests should meet the coach at the bus stop opposite Nadi Bay Resort.
  • Club Fiji / Oasis Palms: All South Sea Cruises transfers will be shared and will take guests to Nadi Bay Resort to meet the coach transfer to Port Denarau at 7:15 AM.
  • Bamboo Travellers Beach / Beach Escape Villas / Bamboo Bluewater Lodge / Aquarius on the Beach / Smugglers Cove / Ramada Suites by Wyndham / New Town Beach Motel: Please wait for your transfer outside Ramada Suites by Wyndham.
  • Port Denarau Marina, Denarau Island, Fiji

Airports: Nadi International Airport, Nadi, Viti Levu, Fiji

Notices

Compulsory Meal Plan (includes three meals daily from check-in to check-out): This meal plan is a mandatory requirement set by the island resort, and guests must dine at the resort’s restaurants for all meals. You can add this package to your reservation when booking, or pay for it on-site upon arrival at the island. Please note that this dining plan is compulsory, and guests are not permitted to bring their own meals to the island.

  • Prices are quoted in Australian Dollars (AUD).
  • Exclusions: The main price does not include post-cruise transfers from Port Denarau, drinks (other than those included in the in-room minibar), deep water diving, spa treatments, or any shopping or extra activities outside the cruise itinerary.
  • Accommodation: Many private suite bungalows (Bures) on Fiji’s outer islands may have fans rather than air conditioning. However, the island remains cool and well-ventilated at night.
  • Itinerary Changes: Our company reserves the right to make timely adjustments to the itinerary due to weather, flight changes, or other reasons. Final decisions and interpretations are at the company's discretion.
  • Additional Costs: We are not responsible for additional costs incurred due to personal reasons, strikes, weather conditions, political factors, wars, disasters, or other force majeure situations.
  • Booking Recommendations: To ensure better arrangements, it is recommended to book at least 10 working days in advance. Small group tours allow the guide to adjust the itinerary based on specific circumstances.
  • Optional Activities: Optional activities are not mandatory.
  • Price Adjustments: FIT Travel reserves the right to adjust prices without prior notice. Once a booking is confirmed, there will be no price increase.
  • Reservation Security: Please book in advance to secure your reservation. If additional services are required due to personal reasons, guests will be responsible for the extra fees. For instance, if a visitor cannot continue the tour due to emergency medical treatment, FIT Travel will consider the tour forfeited without a refund.
  • Tour Compliance: All visitors must follow the tour guide’s arrangements and are responsible for the consequences of their own actions.
  • Food Restrictions: Do not bring fresh vegetables, fruits, meat, fish, or other food items into Fiji.
  • Island Stay Packages and Passes: For Island Stay Packages and Awesome Passes, accommodation must be consecutive at the same resort to qualify for additional benefits. Resorts reserve the right to change conditions and additional benefits. Late check-outs are subject to availability at check-in and may incur extra charges.
  • Manta Ray Snorkelling: Swimming with manta rays is included seasonally (May to October) and depends on the availability of manta rays in the area. If manta rays are not sighted, an alternative snorkelling trip will be offered.
  • Dive Packages: Age and medical restrictions apply to diving activities. A medical questionnaire must be completed by the dive company. Divers cannot fly within 24 hours of diving. The company is not responsible for medical conditions arising from diving or flying after diving.
  • Visa Requirements: Clients travelling with Awesome Adventures Fiji are responsible for checking and complying with Fiji’s visa requirements.

Additional Information:

  • Gear and equipment are sanitised between uses.
  • Hand sanitiser is available for travellers and staff.
  • High-traffic areas are regularly disinfected.
  • Temperature checks are performed regularly for staff.
  • Vehicles are regularly sanitised.
  • Guides are required to wash their hands frequently.
  • Travellers should have at least a moderate level of physical fitness.

Cancellation Policy

No refund if cancel after order is placed.

NOTE: FIT TRAVEL would adopt suppliers' cancellation policy. Cancellation fees, if any by the suppliers, will be charged according to the supppliers' cancellation policy ( FIT TRAVEL does not charge additional cancellation fees ).
With this specific product's cancellation policy, the suppliers reserve the right of final interpretation.
If your order only pays the deposit of a product: a, if the product has available seats on the departure date and price and contents are the same as the order you placed, the booking would be confirmed by us without additional notification to you, and the deposit is not refundable. b, if the product has no available seats or price or contents are not the same, we might provide alternative options. If you do not agree with the options, the deposit is refundable.
