This team of passionate conservationists at Australia Zoo have created an incredible world of interactive wildlife experiences like nowhere else on the planet.

Forget about just walking around looking at animal enclosures – Australia Zoo wants you to get up close and personal with their amazing animals, learn about why they mean so much to us, and help save them.

Australia Zoo is on a mission to make you fall in love with the furry, feathered and scaly animals of the world. You can lounge in the sunshine with a kangaroo, cuddle a koala, watch the Zoo Crew feed a crocodile or take part in the awesome Australia Zoo Wildlife Warriors Show at midday every day. Check out giraffes, rhinos, zebras, cheetahs and meerkats on the African Savannah, and majestic tigers and red pandas in the South-East Asia are. See free-roaming ring-tailed lemurs, giant Aldabra tortoises, colourful macaws and more on Bindi's Island.

The Sunshine Coast is easily accessible by a number of major highways. Australia Zoo is situated on Steve Irwin Way in Beerwah, and is approximately a 60-minute drive from Brisbane via the Bruce Highway. To get more driving route information, click below.

Directions from the North

Follow the Bruce Highway until the Landsborough/Steve Irwin Way exit 188 on the left
Take the exit which goes back over the Bruce Highway and get onto Steve Irwin Way
Follow Steve Irwin Way
Pass the Mooloolah exit on the right
Pass the Landsborough exit on the right
Australia Zoo is on the left about 5 kilometres past Landsborough

Directions from the South

Follow the Bruce Highway until the Steve Irwin Way/Glasshouse Mountains (Tourist Route 24) exit on the left
Take the exit (there is a big brown sign with Beerburrum, Maleny and Landsborough on it)
Follow Steve Irwin Way for 18 kilometres without exiting
Pass Beerburrum exit on the left
Pass Glasshouse Mountains exit on the left
Pass Beerwah exit on the left
The Australia Zoo entrance is on the right, 3 kilometres past Beerwah

Prices are quoted in Australian Dollars (AUD).
Student concessions : Secondary students aged 15 years or older are eligible for a concession fare. School students aged 5 to 14 years fall under the child concession category. Students must: carry an approved Queensland or other states student photo identification card, or wear an official Queensland school uniform. Registered home education students 15 years and older who hold a valid Home Education Unit identification card are also eligible. Students are not eligible for a concession if they hold: international or overseas secondary student identification card.
For Concession - senior tickets, a valid pensioner or senior ID is required (Valid for one Pension/Senior entry only - must have Pensioner or Senior ID)
The park and quotation are all in Australian Dollars (AUD).
This park requires a minimum of one person to proceed the booking
Infants aged 0-2 can enter the park for free

Cancellation Policy

This ticket is valid within 12 months from the booking date (allows for one admission within 12 months). Once booked and issued, the ticket is non-refundable. The validity period of the ticket is calculated from the date of booking within the 12-month duration.

NOTE: FIT TRAVEL would adopt suppliers' cancellation policy. Cancellation fees, if any by the suppliers, will be charged according to the supppliers' cancellation policy ( FIT TRAVEL does not charge additional cancellation fees ).
If the prodduct can be cancelled within a period of time, please email us at least 2 business days prior to this cancellation date to cancel the product, based on the tour local time zone.
If cancellation is successful, refund would be conducted within 7-28 days.
Cancellation notification needs to be formally replied receipt by us during our office hours as acknowledgement.
Once cancellation is confirmed, you will receive your refund within 14 business days. With this specific product's cancellation policy, the suppliers reserve the right of final interpretation.
