A unique opportunity to participate as crew on an actual America’s Cup yacht - we offer everyone the opportunity to sail these grand-prix racing machines, no experience necessary.

With guidance from our professional crew you will become part of the team sailing this authentic race vessel. Take the helm, exert energy on the grinders or sit back relax and enjoy the action as we sail the beautiful Waitemata Harbour.

Transportation

Boarding / Meeting Point:
Explore Group – Auckland – Explore Booking Kiosk
Located at Viaduct Harbour in central Auckland, at the end of Quay Street, directly opposite the New Zealand Maritime Museum.

📌 Summary:

  • Please check in at least 15 minutes before departure.

  • The meeting point is at Viaduct Harbour, a popular waterfront precinct in central Auckland, near the Maritime Museum.

  • The tour usually returns to the same location at the end of the experience.

  • Final boarding details are subject to the information stated on your ticket.

Things to Note

  • All price is in AUD
  • Please check in for your trip 15 minutes prior to departure
  • Please wear a light jacket and flat soled shoes
  • This trip is suitable for children 10 years and over
  • Participation is not compulsory if you prefer to sit back and watch the action
  • The experience includes a full safety briefing before departure
  • Lifejackets will be supplied and must be worn at all times
  • In wet weather rain jackets will be provided
  • Please note guests must be able to independently step up onto vessel to board and disembark. This experience is onboard a race yacht which includes moving parts and ropes, during the experience the boat will pitch and roll. For those with limited mobility please contact us for more information
  • This is an adventure activity and not recommended for pregnant women and people with medical conditions, please discuss any medical issues with us at time of booking

Cancellation Policy

10% surcharge if change or cancel after order is placed. No refund if cancel within 3days.
Noticed: If you would like to cancel, please kindly email us to cancel the tour at least 2 business days prior to this cancellation period. Once cancellation is confirmed, you will receive your refund within 7-28 business days.
Cancellation notification needs to be formally replied receipt by us during our office hours as acknowledgement.

NOTE: FIT TRAVEL would adopt suppliers' cancellation policy. Cancellation fees, if any by the suppliers, will be charged according to the supppliers' cancellation policy ( FIT TRAVEL does not charge additional cancellation fees ).
With this specific product's cancellation policy, the suppliers reserve the right of final interpretation.
If your order only pays the deposit of a product: a, if the product has available seats on the departure date and price and contents are the same as the order you placed, the booking would be confirmed by us without additional notification to you, and the deposit is not refundable. b, if the product has no available seats or price or contents are not the same, we might provide alternative options. If you do not agree with the options, the deposit is refundable.
