Great adventure
I originally just wanted a relaxing island getaway, but the range of activities turned out to be much richer than I expected.
The desert adventure was one of the highlights. It’s rare to get the chance to do something like that on an island. The helicopter ride may not be very long, but the views are absolutely worth it.
The dolphin feeding experience left a strong impression. It wasn’t noisy, and it never felt like the dolphins were being disturbed. The entire process was guided, so there was no need to worry about where to go next at any point.

fully engaged every day
Honestly, I originally just wanted to switch off and relax, but ended up feeling fully engaged every day.
The desert adventure was exciting, and the helicopter experience was excellent value and brought a completely different kind of emotion. The overall pace of the trip was very well balanced. It wasn’t too tiring, yet the days still seemed to pass very quickly.

absolutely the right decision
Bringing the kids along was absolutely the right decision. They were excited the entire time.
Feeding the dolphins became the most unforgettable memory for our whole family. Even after coming home, the kids couldn’t stop telling their friends about it. The desert activities were safe and fun, and the accommodation was very family friendly.
This is a tour that both adults and children will truly enjoy. It’s genuinely worth it.

It felt very fulfilling and well worth it.
This time, we joined the Moreton Island Resort Day Tour with one included activity of your choice, and it really felt like great value for money. We departed from Brisbane early in the morning by ferry. The journey took about 75 minutes, the ride was smooth and comfortable, and as soon as we arrived on the island, we instantly felt the holiday vibe.
We chose the guided shipwreck snorkelling tour. The water was incredibly clear, with plenty of coral and fish. The guide stayed with us the whole time, and life jackets were provided, so even those who aren’t strong swimmers could enjoy it with peace of mind. Some friends in our group chose sandboarding instead, and they couldn’t stop talking about how fast and exciting it was, laughing the whole way through.
The island schedule is very flexible, so you’re not constantly being rushed from one activity to the next. After the activity, there’s plenty of free time to stroll along the beach, swim, or simply relax in the sun. Lunch vouchers are included and can be used at the island restaurants, which is very convenient and means you don’t have to worry about where or what to eat.

My wife and I booked this to enjoy the water activities as we love the sea, and we weren’t disappointed at all. There were so many we could do, and all of them were so fun! She actually loved the snorkelling so much, and we saw turtles and an octopus, and the fish living in the wrecks were beautiful. We would’ve liked to snorkel longer though.

An Unforgettable Moreton Island Desert Safari
Our day trip to Moreton Island was an adventure to remember, especially with the Desert Safari experience. From the moment we arrived, the island’s untouched beauty took our breath away – golden sands, clear blue skies, and the sound of gentle waves in the background.
The highlight of the trip was definitely the sandboarding. Sliding down the massive dunes was an exhilarating experience! The thrill of racing down the steep slopes, surrounded by the desert’s stark beauty, is something I’ll never forget. The guides were fantastic, making sure everyone felt confident and safe while also encouraging us to enjoy the ride to the fullest. Pro tip: bring sunglasses or goggles to keep the sand out of your eyes!
Apart from sandboarding, the Desert Safari itself was a treat. It was fascinating to learn about the island’s history and natural features from the friendly and knowledgeable guides.
After the Desert Safari, we had plenty of time to relax and explore the island’s other attractions. The pristine beaches and crystal-clear waters were perfect for a leisurely stroll or a quick dip to cool off.Also they offer the food and drink ticket you can use it to buy whatever you want eat and drink. That’s really good cuz it’s like free meal or you can spend around $5-$10 to get a big meal.
The trip was well-organized, and the staff went above and beyond to ensure we had a smooth and enjoyable experience. They were attentive, approachable, and always ready to help with any questions.
If you’re looking for a day full of adventure and natural beauty, the Moreton Island Desert Safari is a must-try. Whether you’re seeking a rush of adrenaline or simply want to immerse yourself in the island’s serene atmosphere, this trip has something for everyone.

Very nice day trip
The day trip was very nice, there were a lot of activities to do so we didn’t get bored. The snorkelling was very fun, we got to see an octopus and 2 turtles and the wrecks were absolutely amazing to see with all the wildlife. I highly recommend it! All the information was available before, and you could book the activities before as well. Everything was very professional.

Flexible and prompt arrangement
I and my family had a great day on Moreton Island – with dolphin feeding and the cruise. We ordered our ferry ticket just 2 days ago and FIT was quick to respond.
