The brand new day tour will take you on a journey of discovery to some of the most picturesque and untouched locations on the Great Barrier Reef. Guests will enjoy the hidden wonders above and below the ocean off the coast of Mackay.

Destinations Wildcat will be visiting include Cockermouth, Brampton, Keswick, St Bees, and Scawfell islands, as well as some secret, hitherto unexplored spots.

Transportation

Where does the tour depart?

  • Check-in opens at 8:30 am at the Mackay Marina Village Wildcat office
  • Departs: Mackay Marina Village at 9:00 am.
  • Ends: Mackay Marina Village at 4:00 pm.
  • Please meet at the Wildcat office at the Mackay Marina Village at 8.45 am. The vessel will depart at 9:00 am sharp so please don’t be late. It is advisable to bring a rain jacket during the summer months (Jan – April) and warmer clothes during the winter months (June-September). Travel Insurance is recommended.
  • NOTE: Parking is available at the Marina Village

Notices

  • The ALL-INCLUSIVE price listed in AUD
  • This tour is not recommended for Children under six years old. However, children under 6 years old must be approved before departure, and there are limitations regarding their participation in water activities. Children under six years old need to supply their lifejackets.
  • Recommended for confident swimmers that have previously snorkelled.
  • For the  guests are booked for this cruise . We require that at least one person of the group can understand the explanations in English and guidance of the Instructor and all guest will need to be able to swim for 100m.
  • What to bring: 
    • Sunscreen, sunglasses, a towel and a hat
    • Practical clothing and footwear (warmer items during winter)
    • Swimming attire
    • Underwater camera
    • Credit Card for drinks
    • A sense of fun and adventure
  • Travel insurance is recommended, particularly during the wet season (January-April).

  • The ALL-INCLUSIVE price includes the following: Lycra suit hire, snorkelling equipment + fins, all meals and snacks, paddleboard hire (4 available), environmental marine charges, Queensland Parks and Wildlife and fuel levy.
  • Children under two years old must be approved before departure and supply own lifejacket. – weather conditions dependant

Cancellation Policy

Free Cancellation if cancel outside 24hours. No refund if cancel within 24hours.
Noticed: If you would like to cancel, please kindly email us to cancel the tour at least 2 business days prior to this cancellation period. Once cancellation is confirmed, you will receive your refund within 7-28 business days.
Cancellation notification needs to be formally replied receipt by us during our office hours as acknowledgement.

NOTE: FIT TRAVEL would adopt suppliers' cancellation policy. Cancellation fees, if any by the suppliers, will be charged according to the supppliers' cancellation policy ( FIT TRAVEL does not charge additional cancellation fees ).
With this specific product's cancellation policy, the suppliers reserve the right of final interpretation.
If your order only pays the deposit of a product: a, if the product has available seats on the departure date and price and contents are the same as the order you placed, the booking would be confirmed by us without additional notification to you, and the deposit is not refundable. b, if the product has no available seats or price or contents are not the same, we might provide alternative options. If you do not agree with the options, the deposit is refundable.
